Oneplus Nord Launches in India in live AR Event Price, Specifications

Oneplus is launching its first mid-range smartphone in India after almost six years. The Oneplus Nord will be a mid-range 5G smartphone from the smartphone manufacturer. Even the launch event is going to be a unique experience. The launch event will take place at 7:30 pm IST on 21-07-2020 through an AR or Augmented Reality event. To watch the phone launch you need to download the Nord AR app from either Google Playstore or iOS app store. To watch the launch in AR you need to have registered previously for Rs. 99 but if you haven’t there are other ways to watch Oneplus Nord. Specifications of Oneplus Nord:

Even though the smartphone has not officially launched in India as of yet but we already do know about most of the specifications due to the leaks. The Oneplus Nord will be powered by the new Snapdragon 765G with Adreno 620 GPU. The smartphone will be running on Android 10 with OxygenOS on top. The screen will be an AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is a 6.4-inch display with 1080x2400 resolution resulting in 409 PPI. Oneplus Nord comes with dual sim card support but storage expandability is unknown as of yet. For storage, there are 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of Ram. The camera setup at the back is the usual quad-camera one. The primary lens is a 48MP shooter with OIS or Optical image stabilization. The secondary lens is an 8MP ultrawide sensor and the third is a 5MP depth sensor. The fourth lens is a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera there is a dual-camera setup. The primary camera at the front is a 32MP shooter and the second is an 8MP ultrawide lens. 

When it comes to connectivity the Oneplus Nord comes loaded. There is dual band wifi, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.1. There is no headphone jack. The battery on the device is a 4,115mAh with support for 30W fast charging. There is also in-display fingerprint scanner. 

Price of Oneplus Nord in India

Oneplus has said that the Oneplus Nord will be priced below $500 when launched. So it is safe to assume that the smartphone will be priced under 37377.75 Indian Rupees. Take that and the fact there are going to be more Snapdragon 765G smartphones launching in India the price of the Oneplus Nord becomes very important for its success in the biggest smartphone market of the world. We predict that the Oneplus Nord will be priced near Rs. 27,000 when it launches.
