The price and launch date of the OnePlus Open in India have once again been leaked. The foldable phone will go on sale for the first time one week after its October 19 debut in India, according to recent reports.
The same leak also indicates a gold color option for the OnePlus Open. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, a 120Hz AMOLED screen on both the inside and outside, and an Alert Slider are some of the main features of the OnePlus Open.
OnePlus Open specifications (expected)
Display: The internal display is expected to be a 7.82-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2440×2268 (2k) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The external screen could be a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2484×1116 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Cameras: The rear camera setup may include a 48-megapixel main lens, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel 3x telephoto lens. You can also get a 32 MP and 20 MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone's optics are supported by Hasselblad filters and tuning.
Operating system: The OnePlus Open can deliver with Color OS 13.1 based on Android 13.
Processor: This shell could be placed on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno 740 GPU.
RAM + ROM: OnePlus Open supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB storage.
Battery: There can be a 4805 mAh battery inside and the advice claims that the charging speed can only go up to 67 watts.
Other Features: OnePlus may bring its signature Alert Slider to this phone.
Colors: So far, we've seen the OnePlus Open in black, green and gold.
OnePlus Open India Price, Sale Date (Expected)
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, OnePlus Open could be priced at Rs 1,39,999 in India. Meanwhile, it is priced around $1,700 (roughly Rs. 1,41,300) in the US. Anyway, the rumored OnePlus Open price is much closer to the Rs 1, 54,999 of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 (12,256GB).
The latest leak may disappoint eager buyers who were hoping for a more competitive price for the OnePlus Open. The foldable phone was earlier rumored to be priced between Rs 1,00,000-1,20,000. The tip adds that the OnePlus Open will go on sale in India on October 27, roughly a week after its October 19 launch.
