Oppo Reno 10X with shark-fin design pop-up camera launched at Rs 49,990

Ending months of rumours around its 2019 flagship smartphones, Oppo today launched the Oppo Reno 10X in India that comes with a 10x zoom comes with a triple camera, shark fin rising front camera and ultra-night mode. The new Oppo Reno series will replace the Oppo F-series.

Oppo designs smartphones with a deep focus on camera and the Oppo Reno 10X is no exception. The triple rear camera of the Oppo Reno 10X is covered with a glass body featuring a no-bulge finish, and the back cover is a single piece of 3D glass. The smartphone comes with an in-display finger print sensor 2.0 that is 30 per cent faster than the previous generations, claims Oppo.

The 48MP primary lens features the Sony IMX586 sensor, 4-in-1 resolution focusing in low-light scenarios, a 1-2-inch large sensor, and an f/1.7 Ultra-large aperture. With the ultra-night mode 2.0, the smartphone is able to process faces and backgrounds separately to offer optimised skin-tone effects to present a more realistic picture. The smartphone offers users a 120-degree wide-angle camera, which makes it easier to capture a wider range and multi-person portraits.

When you will opt for selfies, the entire top of the device is raised to 11-degresss to give a shark-fin look. The earpiece, front and rear flashlights are hidden in the front module.

The device supports 4K UHD video recording at 60 fps, equipped with optical image stabilisation and the latest electronic image stabilisation technology.

The Oppo Reno 10x comes with a 6.6-inch notch-less panoramic screen and has only 1.63mm bezel on both sides, for a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1 per cent. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and comes in two colours – jet black and ocean green. The jet black colour of Oppo Reno 10x is mixed with hints of grey and blue.

The Oppo Reno 10x costs Rs 49,990 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 39,990 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Consumers can purchase the device from starting June 7.
