The microblogging network, formerly known as Twitter, was used by tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) to post a screenshot of what looks to be the manifest file of a future Poco device. Skrzypek believes that the rumoured Poco M6 5G will be a rebadged version of the Redmi 13C 5G announced earlier this week in India.

A Poco-branded handset with the model number 23128PC33I and the internal name "air_p" is mentioned in the leaked screenshot. The model number ends with the letter I, indicating that the device will be released in India. The graphic displays the market name "Poco M6 5G" for the alleged smartphone.

While the Poco M6 5G's precise specifications have yet to be revealed, the tipster's assertion that it would be a rebranded Redmi 13C 5G will offer fans an idea of what to anticipate from the following smartphone.

Redmi 13C 5G: Specifications

The Redmi 13C 5G, released in India on 6 December, is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6100+ chipset and can accommodate up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. The Redmi 13C 5G phone has a 6.74-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Redmi 13C has a dual rear camera arrangement for images and movies, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor. It also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi 13C 5G phone has a 5,000mAh battery and enables 18W charging via a USB Type-C connection, although it only comes with a 10W charger.
