Poco M6 5G Launch
This week marks the official launch of the Poco M6 5G in India. The Xiaomi sub-brand has released a new M series phone via social media. Poco has released a poster that reveals the smartphone's appearance. The Poco M6 5G is equipped with a dual 50-megapixel rear camera. It also appears to have a front-facing display notch like a waterdrop. The Poco M6 5G will be released as the successor to last year's Poco M5. It is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G.
Poco M6 5G: Availability
The Poco M6 5G will be available on 22 December, according to the company's official X (previously Twitter) account. The launch will begin at 12:00 p.m. IST. As once said, the company's teaser hints that the handset will include a waterdrop-style notch on the display. It depicts an AI-powered dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Meanwhile, Flipkart has developed a new webpage to tease the Poco M6 5G look ahead of its launch. According to the internet marketplace, the smartphone will be available in black and silver variants.
Poco M6 5G: Specifications
The Poco M6 5G will replace the Poco M5, released in September of last year. It's thought to be a rebadged version of the Redmi 13C 5G. The Redmi 13C 5G was sold in India earlier this month at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
The Redmi 13C 5G has a 6.74-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz. MediaTek's Dimensity 6100+ SoC powers it and can accommodate up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a dual back camera arrangement including a 50-megapixel primary camera and a depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi 13C 5G phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities.
The Poco M6 5G is a good option for budget-minded users looking for a 5G smartphone with a large display, a long-lasting battery, and a decent camera. However, it is not the most powerful smartphone on the market, and its display could be sharper than some of its rivals.
