POCO M6 Pro 5G Launching on August 5, to be Equipped with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chipset

One of the most eagerly awaited smartphones, the Poco M6 Pro 5G, will launch on Flipkart in India on August 5 at noon. Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, had tweeted about the date announcement before this happened.

Additionally, the M-series home page is active on the e-commerce site and highlights some of the important specs, such as the cyan color option and a camera module that is identical to the Poco M5's predecessor, which was unveiled last year.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage are anticipated to be included in the Poco M6 Pro 5G's first release. On August 5, the smartphone will officially launch in India on Flipkart.

The M6 Pro 5G's characteristics and pricing haven't been disclosed by the manufacturer, but the rumor mill has already revealed some of the most important details including the anticipated retail price of the smartphone.

• The upcoming M6 Pro 5G is said to feature a massive 6.79-inch LCD display with a 90Hz adjustable refresh rate panel.
• The smartphone is said to be powered by the recently released Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone is said to have a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support.
• It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Talking about optics, the smartphone will get a dual camera setup with an expected 50-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter.
• The smartphone is expected to feature a punch-hole 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The upcoming smartphone will reportedly debut in three different variants including 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and 6GB RAM 128GB storage and may start at Rs 14,999.
