PUBG Mobile Introduces New Anti Cheat System -Live Review Mechanism

PUBG Mobile is maybe the most played battle royal mobile game in the world. It has given rise to a whole new category of mobile Esports. PUBG Mobile is the most competitive game these days and being a competitive game it has a cheating problem. Cheaters are players who use hacks and software to win the game and ruin the experience for all the other players who are playing the game without cheating. PUBG Mobile has been fighting an uphill battle against cheaters and hackers for a long time now. Now there is a new Anti-cheat system coming that will let players use the spectating system in the game. In your friend list on PUBG Mobile, you may have seen a play icon that is next to someone who is in a match. Tapping on that play button lets you see the game of users who are added to your friend list. PUBG Mobile has decided to use this system to implement its new anti-cheat system.

New PUBG Mobile Anti Cheat System:

PUBG Mobile has done upgrades and adjustments to the spectating system to add a peer review mechanism to the spectate system. Using this mechanism the game server will decide in real-time if a player is cheating in the game. The game server will determine in real-time whether a player is visible in the view of the host to decide whether or not to transmit the location data of a player to spectators. The upgrades and adjustments to the spectating system are made to achieve 2 key things:

• Resolve cheating through the use of the spectating system and improve the gaming environment.
• Improve the performance of the spectating system.

How the PUBG Mobile New Anti Cheat System Work:

The new anti-cheat system will work in a very different way. This new system will work at three levels:

• HOST: The player who is in the match. 

• Game Server: This is the server in which the match is taking place. If you are in India then the game server is Indian. 

• Spectator: The client of the player who is spectating the match in PUBG Mobile. 

On the PUBG Mobile reddit page it says that since the cheating players use two devices to play the game. The way this works is that on one device the cheating player is playing normally and on the other device the same cheating player is using an X-Ray plugin to get the information of where all the players are hiding. With this new method the game server will decide in real time if a cheating player is visible in front of the host. When the server decides that the player is not visible to the host then it will not transmit that data to the spectators. If the player is visible then the data will be transmitted to the spectators.
