PUBG Mobile official twitter account just tweeted out about a brand new collaboration with Yamaha motors. The tweet said that new motorcycle designs are coming in the game. The design will be available as skins as far as we can tell. The designs are inspired from Yamaha motorcycles and players will be able to drive around the maps on these new motorcycles. PUBG Mobile has collaborated with other big names as well. The famous zombie mode on PUBG Mobile started as a collaboration with Resident Evil.
This new collaboration with Yamaha motors USA is not as intensive as the zombie mode which had an entire map dedicated to zombies but it does open doors to more big names who want to work with PUBG Mobile to boost their brand. One thing to note here is that this is not a collaboration with Yamaha Japan but with Yamaha USA. This is important as it means that Tencent wants to increase its presence in the USA as well. Many might not know this but Call of Duty Mobile has been eating the bigger chunk of the Mobile battle royal pie in the united states.

Call of Duty has been one of the biggest brands in the USA since its release. Many associate the Call of Duty brand in America with the armed forces and since Call of Duty Mobile has been released players in America have been abandoning PUBG Mobile slowly. The new update 0.19.0 with the Livik map was also a move by PUBG mobile to make a bigger presence in the North American and European markets. The biggest reason for this move is that players in the European markets spend more in-game purchases compared to players in the Asian continent.
Also, since the ban on Chinese apps by the Indian government and the overall shift in the mood of the public in India against Chinese products has left the position of PUBG Mobile in trouble. Many players have already switched from PUBG Mobile to games like Garena Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile in India. It seems that PUBG Mobile is also trying to reinforce its position by expanding to newer markets.
