PUBG Mobile official twitter handle has tweeted about the game’s latest collaboration and this time it is K-pop. Fans of the game and the genre were equally surprised by the news. PUBG Mobile will be collaborating with the famous K-pop group called BlackPink. This will be the first time for PUBG Mobile and K-pop to come together in the global version of the game. PUBG Mobile has a different version of the game for the Korean players called PUBG Mobile KRJP. The KRJP stands for South Korea and Japan servers. PUBG M has previously collaborated with Alan Walker and brought his music and his classic hoodie outfit and mask in the game. Players of PUBG Mobile are quite excited about the collaboration but no date has been announced as of yet.

Blackpink is a very famous K-pop group not just in Korea but globally and so is PUBG Mobile. This looks like a match made in heaven or in South Korea from where both the game and the group are from. Blackpink is an all-girl K-pop group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The group has won many awards over the years for their music and now PUBG Mobile players will also be able to hear their music. PUBG Mobile has collaborated with Alan Walker before and that collaboration proved very successful for both parties. Now for the first time, we will actually see authentic Korean pop music in the game.

Sadly, for the fans of Blackpink in India, this may not be that great of news. PUBG Mobile was banned in India on the 2nd of September by the Government citing misuse of user’s data. Not just PUBG M but a host of other games from Tencent and Netease games were removed by the GOI after tensions between China and India had escalated.
