PUBG Update 8.2 is Here, New Weapons, Grenades, Skins Added

PUBG update 8.2 is here and so are all the new weapons and skins. The new update 8.2 is for the time being only available on the test server from August 12th and will be available on live servers from August 18th. This is the second update for the game since the previous update 8.1 which added loot trucks and revamped the entire map of Sanhok. This update is not so much about new additions as it about smoother gameplay. There are new weapons being added to the game along with a new grenade that many would even say is illegal. Even the fan favorites SKS, Kar98K, and M416 are getting a revamp to make them look more realistic and the gun sounds are also being changed a little.    Maybe the most unnecessary but still an appreciative move is the new background music selection in the menu to play at the nostalgic heartstrings of players.

PUBG Update 8.2 New Additions, Patch Notes:

The new PUBG Update 8.2 has added a ton of new features. Here they are:

1. A new weapon MG3 has been added to the game. This is an LMG that can shoot in two rates of fire. MG3 will only be available in care packages in the game and uses 7.62mm ammo. Its magazine can hold 75 rounds and the last five rounds of the magazine will be tracer rounds. It can use scopes up to 6x and does 1.25x damage when shooting at vehicles in the game.
2. Decoy grenade makes its entry in PUBG. This is a decoy which means that instead of going boom and blasting the opponents to smithereens it will mimic gun sounds. It will only be available in normal matches in Sanhok. The grenade will make the gun sounds for 10 seconds and will not work underwater.
3. The care package gets an update as well. Now there will be C4 available in care packages along with the new MG3 LMG in all maps except karakin.
4. Erangle map gets 4 more docks in the new PUBG Update 8.2. The docks have been added in wharves, Novorepnoye, Ferry Pier. The southern beaches of the Erangel mainland and Sosnovka Island have also had docks added.
5. Team Death Match is now also available for custom matches.
