Video Games and the entertainment industry have a long history of working together; movies made into games, games made into (not so successful) movies and everything in between. Now more recently, in a first, Netflix has partnered up with Ubisoft for an in-game event in Rainbow Six: Siege, the Money Heist Event.

Money Heist, or as originally known is Spanish, La Casa Del Papel, is one of the most watch Netflix original show. Currently in its third season, the series follows a group of people who try to pull off seemingly impossible heists. Fans of the series will be disappointed to learn that the Money Heist Event does not actually involve a heist in Rainbow Six: Siege. Instead, it is a classic hostage match. The Attackers and the Defenders will fight over a hostage dressed in the iconic costume from the series, a red jumpsuit and a Dali mask.

Additionally, Hibana and Vigil will both be equipped with the same look for the duration of the event. The costumes will also be available for purchase for both the defenders and will be available in the shop for a year.

Hibana’s Heist Bundle contains the Red Jumpsuit uniform, Emboldened headgear, Tokyo charm and Regal Mint weapon skin for the TYPE-89.

Vigil’s Accomplice Bundle includes the Red Jumpsuit uniform, Nameless headgear, The Surrealist charm and Fresh Paper weapon skin for the K1A.

Rainbow Six: Siege will also be available to play for free this weekend across all the platforms. The full game, including the Money Heist Event, will be available for everyone across the weekend. Here are the timings for the free weekend:

PC: November 21st 13:00 UTC – November 25th 20:00 UTC.

XBOX ONE: November 21st 08:01 UTC – November 25th 05:00 UTC.

PLAYSTATION 4: November 21st 13:00 UTC – November 25th 13:00 UTC.
