Realme 6i to launch in India on 24 July with Mediatek G90T Processor

Realme India just tweeted from its official Twitter account the launch of Realme 6i. The new Realme 6i will come with the new Mediatek G90T processor. The listing for the smartphone has gone live on Flipkart. It was on the Flipkart’s listing that the Mediatek G90T processor was revealed. This is the same processor that is used in the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Realme 6i will come with a 90Hz display panel. Realme already sells the Realme 6i in the Philippines but with a different processor. The Realme 6i will be a successor to the Realme 6s in India.

Realme 6i Specifications:  

The Realme 6i will be powered by the Mediatek G90T processor which is a very powerful processor in the midrange segment. The device will come with a gradient finish giving the Realme 6i almost a two-tone look. On the back, the Realme 6i has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera with EIS. The secondary camera is an 8MP wide-angle lens, the third lens is a 2MP macro sensor and the fourth is a 2MP depth sensor. The display is a 6.5-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. There are going to be different Ram and storage variants of the device which have not been specified as of yet. The front camera will be in the punch-hole of the display and can be a 16MP shooter like most smartphones in the midrange price segment. The battery will be a 4300mAh unit. Out of the box, the Realme 6i will run on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. The fingerprint scanner will be on the side of the smartphone instead of the back. The smartphone will support all the standard connectivity options like dual-band wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, and all the standard sensors. The price of the device is unknown yet but it should be somewhere around Rs. 15,000.
