Realme 6i Officially Launched in India at Rs. 12,999, Sale Via Flipkart on July 31

Realme 6i is now officially launched in India. The launch was done via Livestream on Realme's official channels. The new smartphone by Realme is a part of the 6 series and is targetted towards the budget segment.

Realme 6i Specifications: 

Realme 6i will come with the Mediatek G90T processor. This is the same processor used in the Redmi Note 8 Pro and is one of the better processors by Mediatek. Realme 6i will come with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass for added screen protection. The front-facing camera is placed in the punch-hole of the smartphone and is a 16MP shooter. The front camera in the Realme 6i will support Automatic HDR, 120FPS slow-motion video recording. At the back of the smartphone, there is a quad-camera setup. The primary camera is a 48MP shooter. The secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The third camera is a 2MP Portrait lens and the fourth camera is a 2MP macro shooter. The Realme 6i also supports fast charging at 30W and comes with a 4,300 mAh battery capacity. Realme has claimed that the smartphone can be charged from 0 to 100% in 55 minutes. One thing to note is that the Realme 6i will ship with a 20W charger. The 30W charger will be available for purchase on the Realme's website. Another unique part of the Realme 6i is the side-mounted fingerprint reader. Unlike most smartphones where the fingerprint sensor is at the back of the device, Realme has placed the fingerprint reader in the power button. Realme claims that this side-mounted fingerprint sensor can unlock the device in 0.29 seconds. The Realme 6i will come in two variants. One with 4GB of Ram and the other with 6GB of Ram. Both variants will come with 64GB of storage. There is a hybrid 3 card slot for dual sim cards and one MicroSD card. The smartphone will support SD cards of up to 256GB. Out of the box, the smartphone will come with Android 10 with Realme UI on top.

Price of Realme 6i:

The smartphone will be available for sale from July 31 on Flipkart and Realme website. The price of the 4GB ram model is Rs. 12,999 and the 6GB ram model is Rs. 14,999. The Realme 6i will compete directly with the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 8 Pro when it launches. Interestingly, the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with the same Mediatek G90T processor and the base variant of the device starts with 6GB of Ram and 64GB of internal storage.
