Realme has announced that it will be one of the first manufacturers to launch smartphones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G. This is the latest 5G mobile platform for smartphones. The news was broken to the world on the heels of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021. Realme's upcoming device with the codename "Quicksilver" which will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G/ This will allow users to experience speeds like never before and have a seamless 5G experience.

The chipset will improve the performance of smartphones and will provide advanced gaming capabilities.”
Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform is a 6 nm chip with Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU. It can deliver a 40% performance improvement and also extremely energy efficienct. Its Adreno 642L GPU renders graphics 40% faster than the previous generation. Together with GT mode and a new cooling system, Realme will bring a leap-forward performance on its upcoming smartphone for its users.
Realme has been working closely with Qualcomm to bring the latest technology to users. Earlier this year, Realme GT was one of the first devices equipped with SDM888. Realme is now working with Qualcomm on its upcoming devices code named “Quicksilver”.
