Realme Teases C51 with Mini Capsule, Launching Soon in India

In India, Realme has teased the release of its next C-series low-cost smartphone. "Champion is coming" is the company's tease for the Realme C51, and it also promises a more engaging user experience.

On its official India website, Realme has posted a banner to tease the C51 smartphone. The notch and small capsule of the next smartphone, which are also present in the Realme C55 and C53 models, are depicted on the poster. Realme's take on Dynamic Island, which debuted alongside the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, is called Mini capsule.

Realme C51 Global: Specifications

The global version of the smartphone has a 6.7-inch LCD screen that supports HD resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Realme C51 is powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

For optics, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The Realme C51 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Realme is also celebrating its 5th anniversary sale with discounts on several products.

The company is offering discounts on the latest smartphones like Realme 11 5G and other models. This sale also includes other products like Realme Pad 2, Buds Air 5 and others.

Realme C51: Expected Price and Availability

The Realme C51 smartphone was launched in Taiwan last month and is also available in other markets such as Indonesia, Cambodia and more. According to the company's website, the Realme C51 is expected to arrive in two different color options: Mint Green and Carbon Black.

The price of the smartphone is likely to be below 10,000 rubles. In comparison, the latest Realme C53 launched in July is priced at Rs 9,999. The Realme C51 smartphone is expected to be available on the company's official website Flipkart and offline channels after its launch. The company has not revealed the exact release date of the smartphone. Rumors suggest that the Realme C51 could launch in early September.

Does Mini Capsule similar like iPhone’s Dynamic Island feature?

Most noteworthy feature, Mini Capsule, can give resemblance to the Dynamic Island interface found on iPhones. This feature displays notifications for battery, step count, and data usage, and can be activated by navigating to Settings > Realme Labs > Mini Capsule.
