Realme X to launch in India in second half of 2019

For photography, the Realme X comes with a dual camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor.

Oppo’s another brand Realme will launch its Realme X smartphone, sometime in the second half of 2019, media reports said. The smartphone is already been launched in China and Indian users are waiting for its arrival here in the country. The smartphone quickly made waves on the internet owing to the powerful features inherited in it.

In China, the Realme X sports a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen offering a 91.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. According to the company, the NTSC colour gamut now reaches 100 per cent, giving users a rich and crisp display. The smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass.

The Realme X is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC paired up with 8GB and supports dual SIMs. The device runs on Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0. It is fuelled by a 3,765mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

For photography, the Realme X comes with a dual camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The 16MP pop-up camera on the Realme X is located at the centre and according to the company the front camera only needs 0.74 seconds to pop up and has been tested to 200,000 cycles.

The Realme X is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,400) for the base 4GB/64GB storage variant. The 6GB/64GB costs CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,400) and the 8GB/128GB version costs CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,500).

However, the exact Indian price will be known at the time of the launch.
