Realme X has been launched in China and the smartphone will soon make to India. Realme X is the first smartphone from Realme to sport a pop-up camera. The most attention seeking features of the Realme X include 48MP rear camera, VOOC 3.0 charging support and in-display fingerprint sensor. When launched in India, the phone will go head to head with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Realme X vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Design and display

The Realme X has gone into a design makeover maximising the display area with a 19.5:9, 6.53-inch full-HD+ level AMOLED screen with a 91.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. In addition, according to Realme, its NTSC colour gamut now reaches 100 per cent, giving a rich display. The smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass, making it robust and durable.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 7 Pro also sports a glass back giving it a more-subtle look. Both the smartphones are now offered in gradient colour finishes which has become a trend now a days. The Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with 2340×1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of display, the AMOLED panel of Realme X will have a better performance than the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

One feature that makes the Realme X stands out is the inclusion of pop-up camera. The pop-up camera on the Realme X is positioned towards the centre as compared to left orientation present on most of the devices. The company says that Realme X's front camera only needs 0.74s to pop up and has been tested to 200,000 cycles.

The Realme X runs on ColorOS 6.0 on top of Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and has dual-SIM (Nano) tray. The phone is fuelled by the 3,765mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor having eight Kryo 460 cores -- two ARM Cortex-A76 and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores that make the SoC ideal for all users.

Realme X vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Camera

For photography, the Realme X packs a dual camera comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Similar to Realme X, the Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes with 48MP rear camera but is based on Sony IMX 586 sensor. Realme X vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Price

In China, the Realme X costs CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,400) for the 4GB/64GB storage variant, whereas the 6GB/64GB costs CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,400) and the 8GB/128GB version is priced at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,500).

The Redmi Note 7 Pro costs Rs 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant.
