Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the best games released last year. It was the game that gave a tough competition to its contender for game of the year, God of War. International Age Rating Coalition had submitted an application to Australian Government’s Department of Communication and Arts to reapply for the rating of Red Dead Redemption 2 (IARC is an initiative which streamlines the process of applying for ratings, most of which is automated, which in turn reduces the costs for video game developers). Usually releasing a new version is a reason why reapplications are needed. In this case, the application was declined by the Australian Government.

The website does not mention whether or not it was for PC. But since the past year, there have been mounting pieces of evidence which give credit to the rumours. Moreover, the surprise announcement of Rockstar’s own PC games’ marketplace might mean that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC might be announced in the near future. Also, users have found “RDR2_PC_Accomplishments" in the source code of Rockstar’s Social Club website.

Who knows, we might soon be riding on horseback to the old town road.
