Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi 13C 5G edition would launch globally on December 6, the same day that the 4G variant is expected to arrive in India. This follows unsubstantiated rumors that Xiaomi was preparing to launch the Redmi 13C 5G, the company's first 5G model under the C-series. These allegations surfaced earlier this week.
Redmi 13C 5G Key features
There is no information about the expected price of the Redmi 13C 5G; it could become the brand's cheapest 5G phone. The Redmi 13C 5G microsite has been live on mi.com and Amazon for a while, and the phone can be sold through the latter along with the official website.
Although not confirmed, the Redmi 13C 5G is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, which is the same SoC found in the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G.
The Redmi 13C 5G was also spotted earlier on the 3C certification site, which revealed that the phone will support 18W fast charging.

Redmi 13C 5G availability
The Redmi 13C teaser features dual rear cameras, with the main camera expected to be a 50-megapixel shooter. The now deleted teaser shows the Redmi 13C 5G in three color options: green, purple and black. The phone has thick smooth edges and a textured background. An LED flash can be seen next to the cameras, while the Redmi brand can be seen below. The SIM card slot is on the left side.
