Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, debuted the Note 13 series last week in China. The newest smartphone range replaces the Redmi Note 12 series, which was introduced for the Chinese market the prior year. The Redmi Note 12 series became official in other regions, including India, earlier this year thanks to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer.

The Redmi Note 12 was released in March and is one of the phones in this series. This smartphone's pricing has been reduced and is now available on mi.com and other e-commerce websites. Both Xiaomi's official online shop and e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon have decreased the cost of the cheapest smartphone in the range.

Redmi Note 12 Specifications

  • The Redmi Note 12 4G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. It is the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 685 chipset.
  • The phone also supports 5GB of virtual RAM, giving a total of 11GB of RAM. For photography, the Redmi Note 12 has a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit. The phone also has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
  • The Redmi Note 12 runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
  • The smartphone is also IP53 splash and dust resistant and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR Blaster for connectivity.

Redmi Note 12 Availability and Price

The Redmi Note 12 smartphone is available in two different storage options – 6GB 64GB and 6GB 128GB. Both versions are now available at a discounted price. The 6GB 128GB version, which was launched at Rs 16,999, can be bought for Rs 14,999.

On the other hand, the 6GB 64GB variant, which was launched in India at Rs 14,999, is now priced at Rs 12,999. The price of both versions was reduced by 2000 rubles. Xiaomi is also offering an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on its official website to customers who purchase the Redmi Note 12 4G smartphone using HDFC, ICICI, SBI and Axis Bank credit cards. Apart from this phone, the company is also offering headphones worth Rs 599 for 49, free EMI options and an additional discount of Rs 1,000 through Mi Exchange.
