Xiaomi stated on Wednesday (13 December) that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be available in India in the first week of January. While Xiaomi has only announced the Redmi Note 13 5G series, we may expect the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ to be included. The phones were released in China in September. The series' three variants all sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel front camera. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, while the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
According to a tweet and media invite, the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be available in India on 4 January. The Chinese company has also created a landing page on its India website to promote the debut of the new Redmi Note series.
In September, the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ were announced in China. On 4 January, all three models are expected to make their India premiere.
Price of the Redmi Note 13 series (expected)
The Redmi Note 13 costs CNY 1,199 (about Rs. 13,900) in China, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro costs CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,400). Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts at CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 22,800). Indian variants are expected to be equally priced.
The European pricing of the Note 13 Pro versions was just leaked. As per the leak, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will cost EUR 450 (about Rs. 40,700), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will cost EUR 500 (approximately Rs. 45,000).
Redmi Note 13 series: Specifications
The Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 5G series may have identical specs to their Chinese equivalents. The Redmi Note 13 series runs MIUI 14 on Android 13 and has a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the Pro model, while the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. A MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC powers the standard Redmi Note 13.
The Redmi Note 13 sports a dual back camera unit with a 100-megapixel primary sensor, whereas the Pro variants have triple rear cameras with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The phones have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
