After first appearing in China, the Redmi Note 13 series has now made its way to India. Three models have been announced by the company: a normal, a Pro, and a Pro+ version. The Redmi Note 13 series is priced at Rs 16,999 for the standard model and Rs 33,999 for the Pro+ model. These are the specifics.
Redmi Note 13 Specifications
- The new Redmi Note 13 smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, backed by up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of inbuilt storage.
- The device runs Android 13 and is the first Redmi phone to ship with HyperOS. It aims to solve the complexities of managing different hardware ecosystems.
- HyperOS promises to connect Xiaomi devices, allowing users to effortlessly continue tasks across platforms, receive calls on alternative devices, use the smartphone and rear camera as a laptop webcam, share mobile data and more, according to the company.
- The updated interface features an iOS-inspired lock screen, customizable widgets, a dynamic island-like notification system, and an improved quick settings menu.
Camera Features
When it comes to photography, the latest Redmi Note 13 smartphone has two rear cameras, including a 100-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. Under the hood is a typical 5000mAh battery that supports 33W cable fast charging technology.
Redmi also ships a fast charger in the package, which some brands have stopped shipping with the smartphone.
Redmi Note 13 Pro specifications
- The new Redmi Note 13 Pro model has a similar AMOLED screen measuring around 6.67 inches.
- The panel runs at 1.5K resolution and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset backed by up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
- The new Redmi phone runs on the same Android 13 OS as the base model.
- In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 13 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
- It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, you get a 16-megapixel camera on the front.
- The Pro version has a slightly bigger battery than the standard model. It has a 5100mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging technology.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Specifications
- Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has the same display, operating system, storage and camera specifications as the Pro phone.
- The only major difference is in the chipset, battery and charging support.
- It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC and has a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging technology.
Redmi Note 13, Pro, Pro+: Indian price
The base model Redmi Note 13 5G is priced at Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. In India, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage models are priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, Rs 25,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and Rs 27,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is priced at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 31,999, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 33,999. The first sale of the Redmi Note 13 series will take place on January 10 through Flipkart and Amazon.
