We might soon get Remasters of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3

Developers are banking on nostalgia and reboots and they have proven to be quite successful. In the latest development in this category, we might soon see the much loved Mafia 2 getting remastered along with Mafia 3. 

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition and Mafia 3: Definitive Edition both have been given a rating by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea and the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee.  The ratings on the original website seem to have been removed now, but not before the screenshots were taken.

Both of these games will be available of Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Although Mafia 3 is available on all the mentioned platforms, Mafia 2 originally released on PC only. The Remastered version will be the first time console players will be able to experience the game. 

Mafia series has been known for its gritty portrayal of the Mobster life in America. Mafia 2 follows Vito Scaletta who gets into organised crime in a Post World War 2 USA. Mafia 3 follows Lincoln Clay in 1968 as he tries to take revenge of the murder of his surrogate family.
