Despite there being no specific release date other than the statement on Capcom's website that the game would be released in 2023, the Resident Evil 4 remake is also coming to iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Resident Evil 4 will support Apple's Universal Purchase, according to the Capcom website. This implies that even while Village will not provide this option, buying the software on one Apple device will let you to download and play it on others.
Resident Evil Village will launch on October 30th for iPads M1 and higher and iPhone 15 Pro smartphones, Capcom said at the Tokyo Game Show 2023. The price of the game for iPhones and iPads is $39.99. For an additional $19.99, The Winters' Expansion DLC bundle will also be offered.
Resident Evil Village was first released in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Then in 2022, the game was released for Mac, priced at $29.99 (or Rs. 1,799).
Games announced for Apple devices
The two games were announced for iOS devices at Apple's September 12 keynote, along with Death Stranding and Assassin's Creed Mirage and The Division Resurgence. Death Stranding is slated for release this year, while Assassin's Creed Mirage, coming to consoles and PC in October, will hit Apple devices early next year.
Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 use Apple's universal shopping technology and cross-promotion on iPhone and iPad. But the RE4 port also allows cross-promotion with the Mac version.
As a reminder, you need a 2021 or later iPad Pro, 2022 iPad Air, or iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max to play Village. Apple executives spoke to IGN about the iPhone 15 Pro's gaming capabilities. The company appears to be focused on gaming, with one executive saying the phone will be the "ultimate gaming console.
