The e2060Vwt features a photo frame like design and looks elegant. The 19.5” (49.5 cm) wide SXGA monitor with touch sensitive screen can be a replacement for your old PC in the office or at home. It comprises a TN panel with a brightness of 250 cd/m² and a fast response time of only 5 milliseconds. With Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility, the monitor gives a fair chance to use the touch features for user’s corporate or entertainment requirements.

For easy connectivity, the monitor comes with One VGA and one DVI port. It also comes with wall-mount option and Screen+ software.  Two small stands are housed at bottom front on the left and right side, giving the monitor stability when placed on desk. It feels sturdy and does not wobble when using touch screen.

Accurate color reproduction and good viewing angles

The AOC e2060Vwt monitor uses TN panel allowing for great clarity and detail for working, gaming, or enjoying multimedia entertainment in the wide screen 1600x900 resolution. To review the screen performance, we ran several 720p movies, videos on this monitor and it worked like a charm with no amount of lag. The picture quality delivered was great with accurate color reproduction. However, with 1080p we experienced some lag. It plays 1080p but when you are seeking forward or backward or while watching a high VFX graphics fight scene, it lags. High Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 20,000,000:1 displays darker images with more depth and detail. The panel glass is reflective that can be distracting when the screen’s background is dark and might not be suitable where display faces a light source.

Text on word documents, presentations on web browser looks crisp and sharp. We also played games and the colors looked vibrant and bright. The two point touch gesture allows for easy zoom in/out, rotation, expansion, swiping etc. in applications. Entering text from the touch keyboard is also breeze. Being a multipurpose monitor, there are six predefined user settings - Standard, Text, Internet, Game, Movies and Sports. In the Picture Boost Mode, you can pop a Bright Frame, manually determine an area and make it centerpiece of viewing, adjust its brightness according to your taste. It is useful while watching videos over YouTube wherein you don’t want to be distracted by other things. The viewing angles are good and image does not look overly dark or bright when viewed from sides.

It also features an I-Menu which incorporates all settings in an on-screen menu, making it easy to adjust various monitor settings. The monitor has an adjustable stand at its rear, tilt and swivel do not take too much effort to accomplish a viewing mode and it can be easily tilted up-to 40 degrees to adjust to your viewing experience.  Four controls housed at the bottom right bezel of the monitor, are used to navigate/adjust to various display settings. However, I sometimes find it hard to press and have to struggle a bit to press and adjust to a mode.
