Performance

The BenQ RL2455HM monitor sports Full HD TN panel and did a good job while displaying colors and brightness levels. When we played RTS games like Age of Empires, it played smoothly with no trace of lag. In games like Call of Duty: Black Ops, where seen by an enemy boils down to matter of life and death, Black eQualizer technology comes into action that brightens the dark spots without blowing out the bright areas. This giving gamers advantage during game play wherein they can easily spot enemies under hidden areas. The 5ms response time reduces motion blur and other motion artifacts.

When we fired Full HD movies like Gravity it delivered good picture quality, appreciable black levels and does not result in oversaturated colors. Being a TN panel, the screen is best when viewed directly from front, but struggles when viewed off axis and there is a shift in color.

The monitor also has built-in speakers that delivers decent sound when your are watching movies, music in close proximity.
