Curve proBass looks cool in matte black colour. It comes with over earmuffs that can be folded inwards on a horizontal axis. Once folded, it can fit easily in a bag. The headphone has symmetric design, it sits perfectly on the head.

The earmuffs also fit comfortably but do not wrap completely around the ears. Where flexibility of the headphone is plus, the small muff design leaves some opening on the bottom. This opening let the music flow out, resulting in sound leakage as well as ambient noise.

The cushioning is quite comfortable to use even for long hours. All controls of the product go on the right earmuff. There’s the 3.5mm jack in the middle below and a MicroUSB and two microphones lie on either side of it. You can find controls for play/pause music, a dedicated button for receive and disconnect calls, and two buttons to change the track.

Detel Curve proBass comes with φ40mm, 32Ω 30mW driver unit with a frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz. We used it for quite a long time and played various tracks. We used different genres as well as file formats including FLAC, mp3, ALAC, and WAV.

The 40mm drivers produce HD audio, on medium volume levels you will enjoy the clean sound with great bass. On higher nodes, its performance went pretty average. With some higher pitch nodes, you can find distortion as well.

In terms of loudness, it is loud enough but as we mentioned earlier as well sound leakage is there, as well as you will be disappointed with the noise cancellation.

Curve proBass offers two connectivity options, 3.5mm jack to attach a cable and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. These headphones are equipped with Bluetooth Version 5.0 and come with a connectivity range of up to 10 meters. Without any obstacle it can go for 10 meters of wireless range. With obstacle, it is good to go for about 8 meters, depending on what type of obstacle is there.

The headphones are backed by 300 mAh battery each. It takes around 2.5 hours to charge and company claims to offer playback time of 5 to 6 hours. We tested its battery capability while playing different genre of music. It was able to play music for about 4 hours and 48 minutes, playing music on full volume in one full charge.
