The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 series is the smallest laser MFP in its class and is available in two models; HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277n and HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw. Both MFP's offer a 150-sheet capacity, but the M277dw adds a duplexer (for two-sided printing).The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 series also comes with standard two years warranty & free installation.

Design and Features

The M277dw has an uncluttered and compact design and features 3 inch touch screen and can be tilted for easy viewing. Despite having a compact form factor, the M277dw is equipped with a 600dpi laser printer, 1200 dpi scanner and copier, and 300dpi fax machine. It supports automatic duplex (double-sided) printing, plus there's a 50-sheet automatic document feeder for walk up scanning/copying, so the M277dw provides most of the features that SME users are likely to need.

The equipped HP ColorSphere 3 toner has been reformulated and includes a soft core which facilitates quicker melting and a smooth flow onto the page, plus a durable hard shell reduces toner wear, so the toner maintains its shape and size from the first printed page to the last. With anti-fraud technology customers have more protection that easily identifies counterfeit cartridges and enforces customer-initiated anti-theft and office-wide printing policies to manage cost and quality standards. HP also makes cartridge installation easier than ever with the new auto seal removal. In addition, print gauge technology intelligently predicts toner levels, helping IT managers get the most out of each toner cartridge. Although M277dw can be used as a workgroup printer, the small 150-sheet paper capacity will likely limit the printer and you will end up having to refill the tray more often when sharing this printer with a team of 4-5 users..

Excellent Print Quality

Setting and installing the printer is breeze over the Ethernet port and requires only few minutes. In our standard ISO test with 5% ink coverage, it printed 18 B/W A4 pages and 18 color A4 pages in a minute with first page out in 11 seconds. The test included text pages, graphics pages, and pages with mixed content for both black and white and color. The output quality is excellent and text looked sharp and detailed. With graphics, colors are bright and well saturated. We did not find any significant issues in our tests, and the output quality is superb for PowerPoint handouts or word documents going to clients or colleagues . The colors or black ink did not get smudged when brought in contact with water.

It copied 18 B/W pages and 18 color pages with first pages out in 16 seconds. Output quality is good enough for any business use. It can make a maximum of 99 copies at a time with 25 to 400% reducement/enlargement ratio. Most printers/MFPs only recognize pdf format along with jpeg format during USB printing, but with M277dw you need not worry printing word or ppt presentations and these formats can be directly printed via USB print mode. Apart from USB printing, the M277dw MFP offers Wi-Fi Direct print, NFC and printing from mobile devcies via HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint.
