Bottomline : The DataTraveler R3.0 is nicely built and delivers good performance as well.

The Kingston DataTraveler R3.0 ships on a shock-resistant silicon rubber casing form factor. Users get 29.2 GB of free space. We tested on a bed that comprised of Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1 motherboard, Intel i5 3rd generation processor 8GB RAM and SanDisk 256 GB source drive. In HD Tune benchmark the Read Transfer rate was 81.1 MB/sec with 0.843 ms Access time. In CrystalDisk Mark, Kingston R3.0 gave read speed (seq) of 64MB/sec and Write (seq) of 27MB/sec. When we copied an assortment of 15 GB files to flash drive it delivered average write speed of 32 MB/sec and copied the whole assortment in 8 minutes on a USB 3.0 port. Also it delivered read speed of 75 MB/sec with the same files and copied them in just 4 minutes..
