PTron HBE7 is a budget in-ear headset with Apple’s iPhone ear pods like design.

The PTron Stereo Earphone headsets are basically known for their low budget price. PTron has a full range of smartphone accessories and audio products. Today what we have is PTron HBE7 Universal Earphone for review that going to cost only Rs 299. Let’s see the review extreme budget earphone.

The PTron HBE7 headset is light in weight and looks very premium due to its finished.  It comes with a tangle free TPE cable of 120 cm length. The review unit we got was white in color and has a rubbered cable with black color strips on it which looks cool. At the “Y” cut of cable the radio button is situated that enabled with mic and can use to make calls, answer calls and hang up. The button also features a nob to switch the sound output to Mono or Stereo plus also has a slider to adjust the volume.

It has two speakers in each earphone. It comes with 3.5 mm jack and mic. Also, it is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.  The PTron HBE7 universal in-ear earphone is available in two basic variants of color, white and black.

The product includes input plug diameter of 3.5 mm, impedance – 32W, the frequency range of 18Hz to 20,000 Hz and speaker size 14.2.

We have tested this phone with both Android and iOS smartphones. The button that uses to convert the output to Mono or Stereo works fine along the volume slider button. The call quality is also good. We played a different genre of music. We are not going to talk about the high, low or mids. Instead, we want to share the overall experience. The delivery of sound by PTron HBE7 is good but often struggling with mid instruments. The main thing about which everybody wants to know in the earphone is bass production. The bass of the PTron HBE7 is quite good as price wise. The earphone is good for general purpose usage. It did an average job when we test it with Classic Rock, classics, Rock, Pop, and hip-hop genre songs. The vocals are quite sharp and clear but we noticed sometimes that the bass and treble appeared to compete with each other and hence, the sound often loses clarity.  So, overall the production of sound in earphones is average but the bass is good. The earphones microphone works perfectly over calls without any distortion or call drop. Also, there is no noise leak and the driver of the earphone has a dual speaker that helps to reduce the outer noise.
