The Seagate Wireless has 500 GB portable storage solution designed especially for consumers who want to stream and offload media from their mobile devices. It has inbuilt battery and Wi-Fi that enable you to connect the drive with your laptop or mobile device wirelessly. The inbuilt battery makes it a portable Wi-Fi router that lets you stream media contents directly from the drive on the go using Wi-Fi. This supports up to 3 devices simultaneously.

Using the microUSB cable, you can connect the drive to any PC or laptop as an external drive as well as this can be used to charge the inbuilt battery that can last for more than 5 hours, which means you can use the drive without any hassle and tension for long hours. There is no special software or app required to connect the drive with your devices.

In our testing, we connected it with three mobile devices simultaneously, and it was working fine without any lag in performance. We watched videos and played songs, on all connected devices as well as transferred files from drive to smartphone and smartphone to drive. We didn't see any lag in the performance during the file transfer.

Also, we connected the drive using the USB cable to run some benchmarks and it did pretty well in that as well. On HDTunePro, it resulted in 40.4 MB/s read speed and on CrystalDiskMark read speed was 42.73 MB/s and write speed was 40.20 MB/s. In our real life test, it was able to transfer 3.3 GB of assorted data from PC to drive in 2 minutes 51 seconds with speed up to 35.02 MB/s. While transferring from drive to PC, it took 2 minutes and 45 seconds with up to 63.09 MB/s speed.
