The TV boasts elegant looks, is surrounded by a thin glossy bezel and blends perfectly in your room to present a premium viewing experience. Basic controls are housed at the back of the TV: Power, USB Port, MHL port, SD Card slot etc. Videocon integrates its UHD TV with a remote control that is also equipped with a small square touchpad to navigating through the TV’s interface.

Motion sensing games can be played with the help of your phone through an app. This unique feature uses your body to turn you into a virtual game controller, making it fun for the entire family. It features a home cloud that allows your TV to wirelessly access and stream content from any compatible device such as PC, iPad and mobiles.

Decent performance

We tested the Videocon 4k TV with both HD and Full HD content. Boasting 4 times the resolution of HD, images in the UHD TV looked clearer and finer in detail. It produced great color reproduction making the images more bright and lively. When we fed the TV with UHD content, it surely impressed us delivering excellent picture quality with a wider color gamut. Though it did not produce great black levels, still it retained plenty of detail. When we fed the TV with 3D, the content looked clear with sharp detail. 3D glasses are light in weight and are comfortable to wear and view the whole movie at one go without tiring your eyes. 2D to 3D conversion was not very great and there was not much difference to notice.

The Smart TV feature allows you to browse the internet, log on to Facebook, post on Twitter, video chat on Skype, watch videos on Youtube and do much more. The touchpad in remote control worked well and registering the input through it is a breeze.

The N screen feature works great wherein you can connect your Android phone to control the TV. It is useful when you want to access your media/photos from phone and stream it on the larger screen of the TV. It utilizes Wi-Fi Network and works only when both devices are connected to the same network. Also with backwards compatibility, you can play your TV’s content on your phone. You need to download N Screen Plus App from the Android App store.

Other features include Gesture Controls wherein a hand gesture lets you change the channel, adjust volume, find and select content, all without having to pick up a remote. The finger gesture also allows you to go back to the previous screen and pause video through different motions.
