VingaJoy’s all-new SP-12 Jerry Series Wireless Speaker looks completely different from any traditional wireless speaker. With an ergonomic design that looks like a small robot, the mini speaker boasts numerous features and decent battery life of four to five hours. Let’s explore jerry more deeply –

Build and features

The Jerry series of speakers are built to enjoy music at home or on the go. The compact wireless speaker has a unique design. Made of solid plastic, it looks like a cute robot wearing a headphone. At the back, it holds an on/off button, TF card port, volume rocker, USB, 3.5 mm jack, and a MicroUSB port for different connectivity options. Having Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the speaker 5W speaker also has in-built FM radio, 100HZ to 20 kHz frequency response. It has a Scrolling button to adjust the volume and manage the music. Packed with a powerful 1200 mAh battery that claimed to offer 4 to 5 hours of juice.

Performance

It is a portable lightweight wireless speaker, that can be carried easily anywhere. We enjoyed listening to numerous genres of music on it. To test its capability, we used the device for a month, the focus tracks for the review were Greece 2000 (System Nipel vs. Cosmic Tone RMX) by Three Drives and Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen. The sound signature of this speaker is good with a decent balance of bass. The sound is sharp and we felt that it is aggressive. This can be felt particularly clearly in the first loop of the track. Moving on to Streets of Philadelphia, the initial thump at the beginning of the track is powerful and clear. Thanks to the large drivers, the soundstage is incredible for a compact speaker.

If you switch to lossless FLAC audio files then the difference in audio quality is immediately noticeable. The same audio tracks will sound richer, and you will notice additional detail and a wider dynamic range. We were satisfied with the overall sound reproduction but there was a lack of warmth.

Battery

What Vingajoy claims that the speaker delivers. The powerful 1200 mAh battery offers 5+ hours of juice. When we tested the speaker of the audio loop, playing various genres of songs on full volume, it was able to deliver 3 hours and 46 minutes of playback in one single charge.
