According to the company, Z1x is designed for gamers and photography enthusiasts. Without a doubt, it has an eye-catching design, the front the conventional but the rear flaunts with light shades. The back surface is glossy and reflective, which makes it stylish, but at the same time, it attracts smudges and dust. The polycarbonate body feels solid and fits comfortably in one hand, all thanks to the smart dimensions.

If you love o capture natural images better to use pro mode where you can control ISO and other settings. Using the default auto more it clicks shots with rich colors and sometimes while using indoor you can see a little pale. The phone supports 10x impressive zoom, though it lacks details, which we were expecting.

Performance

Vivo Z1X is powered by Snapdragon 712AIE with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz, combining 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. The combination lets you enjoy games and multitasking without any performance glitch. We used the phone for more than three weeks and loaded with various light and high-graphics intensive games including Fifa, Asphalt, PUBG, etc. While playing the games, there was no performance lag, even while running others at the background. The gaming experience was amazing, plus it has a game center that enhances our gaming experience. Also, when you open a game, you get a game assistant to customize your gaming experience.

In terms of multitasking, we had various apps which we use in our daily lives such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Uber, etc. It was able to manage all the game, even while switching between apps, there was no visible performance lag.

It runs on Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie, which enhances your android experience with different additional functionalities. But it comes with loads of bloatware which is annoying. The phone comes with 64 and 128 GB storage options, which is good, but we missed external storage. As it's made for gaming and photography, each intensive game eats space of more than a GB and sometimes 2-4 GB. Also, image capture ample amount of storage, thus 128 GB isn’t enough.

The Vivo has a multi-turbo mode that comprises of four different modes - the Net Turbo, Center Turbo, AI Turbo, and Cooling Turbo. All these modes serve different purposes like Net Turbo maintains improved network status, Center Turbo ensures excellent gaming performance by optimizing the game’s CPU and memory consumption. The AI Turbo mode learns your phone usage and helps open applications that you commonly use. The Cooling Turbo is useful for intense gaming sessions and brings the device fermeture down.

Battery

Vivo Z1x is powered with a 4500 mAh battery that produces enough juice to last for an entire day with moderate usage. With a couple of hours of games, internet surfing, and other activities, it lasted with us for more than a day. Additionally, it comes with Vivo's proprietary FlashCharge technology, enabling you to charge the device quite quickly.
