Samsung Confirms Galaxy S24 as AI phone, Launch Expected Around January 2024

According to rumors, the much-awaited global debut of Samsung's Galaxy S24 series—which includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra—is set for January 17, 2024.

However, in addition to products that will be delivered in a few months, the South Korean company has been registering trademarks for products that are nearly two years away, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25. The company has also submitted trademark applications for other product categories, such as smart rings and augmented reality glasses, in the last several months.

Why Galaxy S24 is getting linked to an AI Phone?

Following SamMobile's review of Samsung's plans to focus on artificial intelligence in its next flagship, the company has confirmed the news by announcing the Galaxy AI Experience, which will launch alongside the Galaxy S24 series, which will include various AI features.

The Dutch site Galaxy Club found several more applications from several countries, one of which reveals that the Galaxy S24 will be released as a smartphone. The brand has registered trademarks for titles like AI Phone and AI Smartphone to show how serious it is about AI.

While focusing on augmented reality glasses, the company also wants to acquire brands for televisions, smart displays, and other products with names and logos such as Magic Pixel, Flex Magic, and Flex Magic Pixel.  This is another great sign of how artificial intelligence (AI) will be the most talked about keyword for the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. However, these names are somewhat restrictive, so Samsung may not receive these marks.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Features (Expected)

The handset, which will be unveiled on January 17 next year, is expected to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as a processing unit; in the global market, the devices could be equipped with the internal Exynos processor instead.

In addition, the collection could have titanium frames instead of the existing aluminum frames. In addition, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to be Samsung's first "Generative AI" phone and may feature new EV battery technology to extend battery life.
