Samsung Galaxy A70 goes on sale today

The sale for Samsung Galaxy A70 will start in India today (May 1). The smartphone was launched in April and interested consumers can now purchase the Galaxy A70 from Flipkart. The device is also available at the Samsung Opera House, and other retail stores. Samsung opened the pre-booking from April 20 that lasted up to April 30.

Priced at Rs 29,990, the Galaxy A70 is available in black, blue, and white colour variants. Flipkart is also offering a cashback of Rs 2,000 on ICICI Bank credit cards.

The Galaxy A70 is the sixth smartphone in the popular Galaxy A line. The smartphone comes with a 32MP triple rear camera that is capable of shooting super slow-mo videos. The 8MP ultra-wide lens has a field of view of 123 degree which enables users to capture both ultra-wide images and videos. The 5MP depth lens allows users to capture portrait shots and the Live Focus feature enables adjusting the depth of field before and after taking a shot.

The Galaxy A70 also comes with an intelligent scene optimiser which analyses a scene across 20 modes and adjusts the colour, contrast and brightness to instantly optimise image quality. There is also a 32MP front camera with AR-Emoji and Selfie-Focus modes.

The smartphone has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U display and Widevine L1 Certification for streaming of true HD content and is also equipped with Dolby Atmos to provide a 360-degree surround sound experience.

Then there is Samsung Pay which allows consumers to carry their wallets on their phones. Samsung Pay is supported by Knox, so consumers can pay securely almost everywhere.

The Galaxy A70 comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It runs on Samsung One UI interface on top of Android Pie. A 4,500mAh battery fuels your apps and according to the company the smartphone can easily last up-to two days and if one runs out of charge, Galaxy A70 comes with 25W super-fast charging technology.
