The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy Book3 series and the highly anticipated Galaxy S23 lineup during this year's Unpacked event on 1 February. According to the tech news website GSM Arena, the Samsung laptop family will have five variants this year, with the Ultra as the flagship. The Book3 Ultra has already been mentioned, and the business has confirmed it. However, this report reveals certain vital specifications and looks like a high-end smartphone of genuine quality.

Galaxy Book 3 Ultra

  • The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is claimed to include a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800p) OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
  • According to reports, the panel's brightness would exceed 400 units.
  • The flagship laptop is believed to include an Intel Core i7-13700H or i9-13900H CPU, a Nvidia RTX 4050 or Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, and up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
  • We're looking at up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe-NVMe SSD Gen 4 storage. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, MicroSDXC, 3,5mm audio port, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB A 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI are stated to be connectivity choices.
  • The laptop is expected to have a premium aluminum chassis and weigh around 1.799kg.
  • Other rumoured specifications include AKG-powered quad speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, a 1080p camera, and a 76Wh battery.

  • The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is to be available in two sizes: 14- and 16-inch, with fast 120Hz OLED 16:10 displays and the exact resolution (WQXGA+) and a peak brightness of up to 400nits as the ultra-model.
  • The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is rumoured to include a 16-inch OLED touchscreen display, with the remaining features remaining the same as the non-360 model.
  • The pro and pro 360 are rumoured to have an Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P CPU, Intel Iris XE graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 PCIe-NVMe SSD Gen 4 storage.
  • Both the pro and pro 360 will purportedly have WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, MicroSDXC, 3,5mm audio jack, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB A 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI connection, as well as AKG-powered quad speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility and a 1080p camera.
  • The 14-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro is supposed to have a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch variant is rumoured to have a bigger 76Wh battery.

Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 3 360

  • The entry-level Galaxy Book 3 will allegedly include a 15.6-inch IPS 16:9 display with 1080p resolution, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a brightness of up to 300nits.
  • The Galaxy Book 3 360, on the other hand, is supposed to be available in two sizes—13.3-inch and 15.6-inch—with fast 120Hz OLED 16:9 touch displays with 1080p resolution and up to 370nits of peak brightness.
  • While the Galaxy Book 3 is reported to have an Intel Core i3-1315U, i5-1335U, or i7-1355U CPU, the Galaxy Book 3 360 is claimed to have an Intel Core i5-1340P or i7-1360P processor.
  • Memory options include up to 16GB of LPDDR4X and 512GB of M.2 PCIe-NVMe SSD Gen 4.
  • The laptops are believed to be equipped with Intel Iris XE graphics.
  • In terms of connection, both laptops will purportedly have WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, MicroSDXC, 3,5mm audio jack, 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI, as well as twin speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility.
  • The 360 variant is supposed to include a 1080p webcam, while the regular Book 3 is said to have an HD camera.
  • The battery in the 13.3-inch Book 3 360 is believed to be 61.1Wh, while the battery in the 15.6-inch version is supposed to be 68Wh.
  • A 54Wh battery is considered to be included with Book 3.
