Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Spotted on Flipkart for the Big Year End Sale

In October, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE debuted in India alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE. The 6.4-inch Dynamic full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50-megapixel primary camera, and 4,500mAh battery power the 'Fan Edition' Galaxy smartphone. While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is used worldwide, the Exynos 2200 chipset is used in India. However, a Flipkart listing and a sale teaser on the e-commerce website indicate that a Snapdragon chipset phone model may be coming to the Indian market shortly.

Flipkart appears to have the Galaxy S23 FE

Flipkart has the Galaxy S23 FE with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC on its website. While the product is out of stock, a teaser for a future Samsung phone during the Big Year End sale suggests it will be available soon.

The teaser, discovered on the Flipkart app's Big Year End sale page, displays a Samsung handset with triple rear cameras, billed as "coming soon," alongside the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and the Vivo X100 series. The sale teaser, which says "The New Epic," does not reveal any information about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE handset. However, the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S23 FE product page lists the price as Rs. 56,500. The listing includes the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE phone's 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model in Purple.

While the Big Year End sale teaser and product listing suggest that the Galaxy S23 FE will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in India, Samsung has not disclosed any intentions to bring the new variant to the market. The Flipkart listing may need to be corrected.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was released in January 2021, two years after the Galaxy S21 FE. For the Galaxy S22 generation, the South Korean tech behemoth skipped the 'Fan Edition' phone. The Galaxy S23 FE, which was released in October, has a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera.
