Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Official Launch Date Leaks: Check Details

Now that Samsung's Galaxy S24 series phones are so widely available, it's no secret. The launch date is now the last piece of information that has emerged. The anticipated official date for the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled for next month, has officially been revealed. Specifications for the Galaxy S24 phones have also been disclosed in official press materials.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event date

According to Evan Blass, the date for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event is January 18. The same was published in X but was removed and is no longer available. However, several outlets have grabbed screenshots of the post. The Galaxy Unpacked event starts at 3:00 AM KST, which is 11:30 PM for Indian viewers.

Samsung also teased a "Galaxy AI" version of ChatGPT and Google Bard. Samsung Galaxy S24 specifications leaked Blass also shared press materials about the Galaxy S24.

Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra specifications 

Display: The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED FHD+ 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2600 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy S24+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, while the S24 Ultra has the largest 6.8-inch display. 

Processor: Depending on the region, all three phones will get either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400. The Indian versions are likely to get the Exynos chipset. 

RAM and Storage: The Galaxy S24 comes in two variants, 8GB RAM + 128GB and 256GB storage. The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra come with 12GB of RAM + 256GB and 512GB of storage. 

Cameras: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ have dual 50-megapixel cameras with a 3x telephoto sensor. Both phones can record up to 8K videos.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 200-megapixel main camera with 3x and 10x telephoto sensors.  Battery, charging: All three phones differ in terms of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S24 has a 4,000 mAh battery, the S24+ has a 4,900 mAh battery, while the S24 Ultra has a 5,000 mAh battery. 

Colors: All the three phones come in four color options of Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray and Amber Yellow. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are in Armor Aluminum 2.0 cases and the Ultra model in the new Titanium case.
