Samsung Launches its Latest Gaming Monitor for Gamers: Odyssey Neo G9

• Samsung unveiled new gaming displays. The first Dual UHD monitor in the world, the Odyssey Neo G9 57, and the upgraded Odyssey Ark 55 are also available.

For gamers in India, Samsung unveiled the Odyssey Neo G9 Monitor with a dual UHD display. The newest model in the Odyssey series, the Odyssey Neo G9, features a 57-inch big screen with 1000R curvature and a 32:9 aspect ratio that offers 7680x2160 resolution.

Odyssey Neo 9 Features

The screen supports a high density of 140 PPI (pixels per inch), a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000000:1.

The display also has a DisplayPort 2.1 input, which transfers data approximately twice as fast as the previously used DisplayPort 1.4, with a 240Hz refresh rate and a fast response time of 1ms. The Neo G9 has a matte screen that reduces light reflection on the screen, minimizing distractions during intense gaming sessions.

The monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that allows users to adjust the height or tilt of the monitor to find the perfect angle. The PBP (picture-by-picture) and PIP (picture-in-picture) features also allow gamers to use the ultra-wide screen for multiplayer gaming, the company said in a release.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 display price is Rs 2,25,000 and is available in white color. Customers can purchase the Odyssey Neo G9 display from Samsung's official online store, Samsung Shop, Amazon.in and all authorized retailers in the country.

Odyssey Ark 55

On the other hand, Samsung also announced the updated 2023 Odyssey Ark 55. It gets minor updates with Samsung MultiView so you can see 4 inputs at once. Split screen connectivity has also been improved, with new Multi View and KVM switches making this giant display a one-stop solution for all your devices, be it gaming, media, work or play. Samsung did not reveal the price of the updated 2023 Odyssey Ark 55, only mentioning that it will be released in October.
