Among the apps that get a new name is Samsung Game Launcher. On devices running the One UI 6.0 upgrade, the game launcher will be referred to as the Gaming Hub.

"The service will be named Gaming Hub starting with Android OS version 14, and earlier OSs will also be updated sequentially," the firm said in an explanation. Please be aware that in some menus on some operating systems, the terms "Game Launcher" and "Gaming Hub" may be used interchangeably.

What Samsung plans for the apps in the future?

Users need to be aware that the mobile app is not the same as Samsung's cloud-based gaming platform found on specific smart TVs, nor is it related to the Freestyle 2nd edition portable projector. Game syncing is supported by this TV platform, which is available in select regions.

Currently, the Gaming Hub mobile app serves solely as a game launcher app and does not possess any titles or cloud gaming features.

Nevertheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that Samsung may have intentions of transforming Gaming Hub into a multifaceted platform instead of a mere launcher app. The mobile app is set to receive numerous features in the future, as stated by the company in a report from Sammobile.

According to the company, Gaming Hub aspires to become a gaming platform that not only organizes your installed games and offers convenient features, but also enhances your gaming experience through diversity.

According to the report, Samsung provided limited information regarding the games that will be featured in the app or whether it will have cloud gaming capabilities. One must emphasize that there have been no other changes to the Gaming Hub app in One UI 6.0, and its appearance remains similar to the previous version.
