In the end, link your Amazon Alexa device with Fire TV devices.

For those who have just one registered Fire TV device, the Alexa app will itself finish the linking procedure. And to further complete the process of pairing the devices, one will have to request the Alexa device and mention “Fire TV”.

In case, one has more than one Fire TV registered device, then one will have to use the Amazon Alexa app for pairing. In the app, navigate to settings - TV & Video - Fire TV, and further link devices to confirm the process. Also, remember, that at one time only one Alexa device can be used to manage the Fire TV.

So, as your devices are paired, enjoy your favourite movies, TV shows, launch apps, search within other apps, control the TV playback and Live TV with the latest released functions.

To add on, Amazon has also added new Alexa skills to your Fire TV Stick such as see live camera feeds, keep a track of sports scores, order food, book a cab, or listen to music. All these skills are accessible on the first generation Fire TV Stick and also on Fire TV Stick 4K.
