TiE announces ‘StartUp Strides’ - The First Ever Global Summit

TiE, is all set to organize their first ever Global run in India, ‘StartupStrides’ on December 4, 2016 in Delhi. With an aim to get “million steps for entrepreneurship” StartupStrides is a run organized by TiE in 10 cities across the world to support the startup ecosystem.

This run is in sync with the theme of the first ever TiE Global Summit "A Million entrepreneurs NOW” to be held on 16^th-17^th December in the capital city.

Through its vast network of entrepreneurs across the Globe and with 61 chapters in 18 countries, TiE is creating a platform for entrepreneurs and investors to learn, network and share ideas with other like-minded people. This Summit, in partnership with the leading agencies of the Government of India, 20+ TiE chapters from India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Dubai, and global venture capital funds will be the largest such conference for entrepreneurs anywhere in the world.

StartupStrides will bring leaders, entrepreneurs, corporates, students, youngsters and runners together to show their support for the budding entrepreneurs and their new businesses. The run is focused towards connecting people from the ecosystem together with the aspirants to support and celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Commenting on the announcement, Geetika Dayal, Executive Director-TiE Delhi-NCR said, “StartupStrides is an exciting initiative bringing together the energy and passion of entrepreneurs. Starting up a new venture  is no less than a marathon in itself. The Global Summit this year is all about a million entrepreneurs and their dreams, NOW. The run is being organised for two categories of 3K & 5K in the capital by TiE Chapters across Pan India & Abroad. This includes cities like Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi, Hubli, Hyderabad, Kerala, Nagpur, Rajasthan and Tampa Bay. The run is being organized in partnership with Policy Bazaar,  , GoQii, T10 Sports and YouTooCanRun, IIT Delhi, Obbserv, Advaiya.

TiE Global Summit offers many sessions and activities, outside the tracks, such as TiE Institute, , Mentor Connect, koffee with keynotes,VC Connect, , and others, that enable the entrepreneurs, exhibitors and venture capitalists to connect with each other and take complete advantage of their two days at TIE Global Summit.
