Esports is an industry which is seeing a tremendous growth and it is not going unnoticed by the mainstream media as well as the companies. The most recent multinational company which has partnered with an esports organisation is Tinder. The dating app giant has announced its partnership with one of the top South American esports organisation, paiN Gaming from Brazil.
The Brazilian esports organisation has announced that it has entered a sponsorship deal with Tinder. There aren’t a lot of details revealed yet, but it has been announced that the partnership will cover paiN Gaming’s Dota 2, Free Fire, Clash Royale and Counter Strike: Global Offensive squads. The Twitter announcement also said that there would be more content from Tinder and they will also give out codes for Tinder Gold.

This isn’t the first time that Tinder has stepped into the esports scene. Earlier in 2018, Tinder had gotten into a sponsorship deal with another Brazilian esports team, MIBR. Tinder isn’t the only dating app that has entered the esports scene either. In August 2019, Gen.G esports, an organisation based out of USA and South Korea partnered with Bumble to launch an all female Fortnite squad.
