Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

Many game devs are remastering and rebooting old games, but nothing hits nostalgia as hard as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. The iconic PS1 game series which have some of the best selling titles in the video game history is now getting a remaster.

The announcement was made by the legendary skater Tony Hawk himself. The announcement also came with a trailer which shows revamped graphics and does a comparison of the old games and new games.

The Remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will contain the original soundtracks. There is no word on it, but we hope we also get the classic song, Superman by Goldfinger in the remasters (the developer, Vicarious Visions told Polygon that a few songs did not make it to the game). Here is a YT collaboration the band did recently to bring those memories back.

The games will release as a bundle on Epic store on September 4, 2020, and will be available starting $33. According to a press release, the game will have the original roster of pro skaters and revamped Create A Park and Create A Skater tools. Players will also be able to share custom skate parks. The game will also have both, an online multiplayer mode and a local multiplayer mode.
