Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC gives a nod to Henry Cavill in game

Henry Cavill has not hidden how big of a gamer he is and especially how much he loves Warhammer. Recently he also uploaded a photograph of himself painting a Warhammer 40K miniature. Creative Assembly, which creates the games in the digital world took notice of this high profile fan and gave him a not so subtle nod in their Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC 

They have added a new character in the DLC called Cavill, Loremaster of Hoeth. At level 15, he gets a trait called White Wolf, which is a nod to Geralt, who is also known as the White Wolf in the Witcher Series. 

If that wasn’t enough, PCGamesN reached out to  Richard Aldridge, Game Director of Warhammer II, who said, “For me, I love nothing more than bringing the world of Warhammer to life, and like many of our fans I get a buzz out of playing with a new character or painting one of my minis at home.” 

“So when I saw a certain Mr Cavill mentioned that he enjoys nothing more than firing up Total War: Warhammer or painting a few models in his spare time, I thought it would be fun to somehow inject him into the game, like we have with a number of developers over the years. You might even spot me. 

 “With the Warden and the Paunch coming up, it felt like a good time to include Henry, and what better way than having a mighty Loremaster of Hoeth by your side with a few personal special traits to play with when starting a campaign as Eltharion.”
