Since the AGM last year, the gadget has leaked many times. Two new phone models have most recently been discovered on India's BIS certification website, suggesting that the nation is about to see their introduction.

Are new Jio phones made in India?

The post was first shared in a tweet by whistleblower Mukul Sharma. After seeing the list, we noticed that these new Jio phones are manufactured in Noida, India. To recall, the Jio Phone 5G was spotted at BIS in December last year and was also manufactured in India. It is not known whether these two models JBV161W1 and JBV162W1 belong to the final variant of the Jio Phone 5G or are completely new devices.

We have already seen the Jio Phone 5G in leaked images before. The phone is expected to debut before the end of this month and could be the cheapest 5G phone in the country. The Indian company introduced the Jio Bharat 4G handset last month.

Is the Jio phones a good buy?

The Jio Phone Next makes sense as a budget Android phone when taken with monthly data plans, but as an unlocked entry-level Android phone, it doesn't the right choice. This cooperation between the two giants is mostly not so suitable.

Further, JioPhone Next is not worth buying because it's an overpriced smartphone along with that, Jio has added a locked-in system which means, you can't use the internet from any other network provider. In short, JioPhone Next would have been a better option at 3,500 but now at Rs 6,499, it's not worth the price.
