Ubisoft has outdone itself with the new games they are bringing. Just after Assassin’s Creed Valhalla we got to see the new Watch dogs trailer and gameplay. Watch Dogs Legion is a new addition to the Watch dogs series of games. Set in a dystopian London where private security forces and underground criminals rule the streets. It is up to you and me to save London from falling. The game will be released on 29 October 2020 and will be available on all major gaming platforms including Google stadia.
Watch Dogs Legion
Nigel Cass & Albion:
From the trailer and videos, we can gather a fairly accurate picture of what the game holds inside. The game is set in somewhat of a futuristic setting in modern-day London where a bomb blast has shocked the government. Now to maintain order and peace in the city there is a new force in town. Albion is a private security company headed by Nigel Cass who wants to take over London. Albion spies on the London populace using state of the art machinery and government support while subjugating the ordinary people of London to authoritarianism. Nigel Cass is a villain that players have to take down by gathering intel and pieces of evidence.
Mary Kelly Crimelord:
With a name like Mary Kelly, it is easy to forget how heinous a person can be but Watch dogs legion makes sure you understand completely how evil she can be. Mary Kelly is a crimelord that uses the dark web to sell organs, drugs, and people into slavery. She is as evil as it gets and needs to be stopped. She implants chips in people’s heads only to kill them at the slightest change of mood. She is the other part of Nigel Cass and needs to stop by you.
Watch dogs Legion Game:
Watch dogs Legion takes a different route when compared to previous games in the series. Here you can recruit anyone from the streets of London to do the dirty work. There is no single character with all the skills. Rather you have 30 or more characters with different skillsets. Ranging from a John Wick style assassin to a construction worker to security personnel from Albion. Each of these characters is unique and have their own story. Players will have to recruit people from the streets of London to help them in their mission to save London from falling into the hands of these villains. Watch dogs legion has gone with a character-based storyline which is unusual but from the trailer, it looks like it can work.
