How to use Google Maps new ‘Offers’ feature

Almost every person love discounts and with the growth of apps that offer huge discounts when you are looking for a meal, spa, adventure activities such as Nearbuy, that let them save thousands of rupees, Indian consumers are somehow accustomed to it. And since everyone loves a good deal, but most of the times keeping track of offers through multiple apps can be hard. To simplify your experience, Google Maps app has recently included an ‘Offers’ section that lets you discover local offers, starting with restaurants.

The Offers section can help you find deals that you can claim at restaurants across the top 11 Indian metros.

Here is how to do it.

Open Google Maps and then click on the Explore tab.

Of the seven shortcuts, ‘Offers’ carries a green color. Click on it.

A list of restaurants around you that are running offers or discounts will be shown.

Tap on the restaurant's name you are interested and want to go. Once clicked, the next page will show you more details about the restaurant -- the place and their food, cuisines offered. Among that, you will see a tab labelled 'Reserve a Table'.

You can let the restaurant know how many people will be coming in and at what date and time. Submit to reserve the table.

Once your table has been booked, you will receive an SMS/email regarding your reservation. To cancel, go to Gmail and click on the cancel link given in the confirmation email.

Google has partnered with Eazydiner to let you find offers from over 4,000 restaurants. For the next two week, you will also get 25 percent off on all booking made via the Offers feature on Google Maps.
