Q- Usually, there are 2 RAM slots present in the laptop, and one of them is occupied with 4 GB of RAM, so how much of expandable memory is supported? As per tech specs it shows 8 GB of RAM is supported when both RAM slots are occupied in the laptop. So how much does one slot of RAM can it really support? Can it support 8 GB of RAM in one slot?

A: Yes, typically laptops come with two RAM slots, and there are chances both slots are occupied by the given RAM. If the tech specs suggest that you can add up to 8GB RAM, it means you can add two RAMs on 4GB capacity in each slot.
